The Association, for the purpose of registration, is declared to consist of 1,000 members but the Council of the Association may from time to time register an increase of members. The Association is established for the purposes expressed in the Memorandum of Association.
Ordinary Members
Any doctor practising in Hong Kong may apply for Ordinary Membership of the Association so long as he or she has been nominated by at least one member of the Executive Committee and countersigned by one Ordinary Member of the Association. Any such application shall be made in such form as the Executive Committee may from time to time determine. Every application for admission shall be considered by the Executive Committee and may be acceded to or refused at its absolute discretion without accounting for the reason.
Associate Members
Any doctor practising in aesthetic medicine in places outside Hong Kong may apply for Associate Membership of the Association so long as he or she has been nominated by at least two members of the Executive Committee and countersigned by one Ordinary Member of the Association. Any such application shall be made in such form as the Executive Committee may from time to time determine. Every application for admission shall be considered by the Executive Committee and may be acceded to or refused at its absolute discretion without accounting for the reason.
